This Privacy Policy applies to the Truckiyard mobile application (“the App”). To provide clarity on how your data is managed, please note the following roles:

The Data Controller determines the “why” and “what” of data processing, while the Data Processor acts on the Controller’s instructions to handle the “how” of data processing securely.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our services to you:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business details collected during account creation.
• Business Operational Data: Core information entered into the App, including inventory lists, sales orders, purchase records, customer/supplier details, and transportation logs.
• Device Information: Automatic collection of device type, operating system, and IP address to ensure the App functions correctly on your device.
• Location Information: Precise device location is collected only with your explicit permission, used solely for real-time shipment tracking and delivery verification.
• Microphone (Audio) Data: Access (RECORD_AUDIO) is requested only for specific features like voice input or logistics recordings. We do not record without your knowledge or store/share audio unless required for a specific feature.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create, manage, and secure your user account.
• To provide core features including inventory management and transportation logistics.
• To process subscription payments and send transaction-related communications.
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• To send service updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
• To improve App performance, features, and user experience.
• To prevent fraud and ensure the security of our services.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers managed by our Data Processor, Mfacture Analytics Solutions Pvt Ltd, using Digital Ocean. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Data Sharing

We value your trust and do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only under the following circumstances:

• With Our Data Processor: Mfacture Analytics Solutions Pvt Ltd, as necessary for technical infrastructure and backend services.
• With Other Service Providers: Trusted third-party partners, such as payment processors, bound by strict confidentiality contracts.
• For Legal Reasons: To comply with legal obligations, regulations, valid legal processes, or to protect the safety and rights of the company and the public.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

Retention: Personal information is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we initiate the deletion of personal data from active systems within 30 days, unless legal retention is required.

Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can withdraw consent for location tracking via device settings. To exercise these rights, contact the Data Controller.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Updated policies will be posted in the App with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of changes.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if such data is discovered, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
